Hurricane Relief for Haiti

Special message to those who live in the South Florida area:

The people of Haiti need our help. The hurricanes and flooding have destroyed homes and killed over 700 people so far. Although much of the Caribbean is suffering, Haiti is the poorest country in our hemisphere.

While many of us may not be able to donate money, we are rich in many other ways. We all have items we are not using, clothes we don't wear, blankets we don't need. They need everything - clothes, shoes, household items, health items, personal items, soap, linens, towels, pillows, blankets, cups, plates, water purification tablets, water, baby stuff, toys or anything else you can think of. Many people are
without homes, clothing, or even shelter.

Please donate anything you are not using to help them. I am gathering things to drop off for delivery to Haiti. If you can help, please bring me your things or call me and I will do my best to get it all picked up. According to the news stations, they need everything they can get ASAP, so my deadline will need to be no later than Sept. 30.

We all have something to give, and together we can make a difference.
