Okay. I've been drinking a bit, so I hope these are coherent!

Purple Rain? I dunno.
2. From Luzja... What's the biggest event in your life to date?
Single event? Hmmm. My birth?
3. From Amy... What's one more thing during your lifetime you would like to learn how to do well?
Earn a living.
4. From Susan... what is your earliest childhood memory?
Escaping from my crib into the hallway... and being reprimanded for it.
5. From LDH... What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?
I honestly couldn't possibly care less.
6. From Beverly and Rosie... Where, When and What is your most favorite memory?
This may be the reason I took so long to respond. Hmmm... I think it's a visit to my great aunt Moselle and uncle Frank's at Thanksgiving time. Perhaps I will elaborate further in other writing.

Black Russian Cake
I don’t know where my mother got this recipe, but it has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember.

Cake:
1 box Deep (dark) Chocolate cake mix
(my mother used Duncan Hines Deluxe II or “Swiss Chocolate”, neither of which is sold any more)
1 small pkg instant chocolate pudding
4 eggs at room temperature
½ cup salad oil
¾ cup strong coffee
¾ cup combined Kahlua & Crème de Cacao

Topping:
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
2 tbsp strong coffee
¼ cup combined Kahlua & Crème de Cacao

Combine cake ingredients in large bowl & beat 4 min. at medium speed or until smooth. Spoon into well-greased Bundt pan & bake at 350° for 45-50 min. Remove from pan when cool & punch holes with cake tester (or knitting needle). Spoon topping over cake. Enjoy!
