Why is it that when people from year-round nice climates get a bit of wind and rain once in a while it makes national news and attention, but every year when us North Dakotans get negative 48 below zero temperatures and enough snow to necessitate shoveling tunnels in order to get out of house it doesn’t even reach the CNN news desk? :)
Oooooooooooo! Snow tunnels! Now, see, to someone from a year-round warm climate... that sounds like FUN! But wind that blows the roof off your house: scary... no matter WHERE you live!
